Patogenicidade de Metarrhizium anisopliae (Metch.) Sorokin e Beauveria bassiana (Bals.) Vuill. sobre larvas de Conotrachelus sp. Fiedler (Coleoptera, Curculionidae), brocas dos frutos do cacaueiro (Theobroma cacao L.)
The entomogenous fungi Metarrhizium anisopliae (Metch.) Sorokin and Beauveria bassiana (Bals.) Vuill. were tested for pathogenicity against larvae of Conotrachelus sp., the pod borer of cacao. All the larvae tested were parasited and killed by the fungi, not only in the spraying treatments of the larvae but also in the spraying treatments of the soil in Petri dishes.
