Monilia, una nueva enfermedad que afecta el cacao de Costa Rica en la zona de Cahuita
The cacao disease known as Monilia pod rot, caused by Monilia roreri has been restricted to north western, South America and Panama. In December of 1978, it was identified from a small area located in a triangle formed by the Estrella River mounth, the town of Cahuita, and the town of Pandora, at 9 grade 45' N. latitude and 83 grade West longitude in the Costa Rican Atlantic zone.
