Timing insecticide application to control the cocoa capsid Sahlbergella singularis Hagl. in Nigeria
Although the current recommendation schedule for spraying against cocoa capsid in Nigeria is for August, September and October, the author suggests that it would be advantageous to spray during the dry season when there is less work to do in the farms and when capsid population is at its lowest level.
