Comparacao morfológica de isolados de Crinipellis perniciosa
A comparative study of mycelial growth "in vitro" and pathogenicity of several isolates of Crinipellis perniciosa (Stahel) Singer was conducted. The pathogenicity of the isolates was tested in seedlings of Theobroma spp., Herrania sp. and of the solanaceous tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill), eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) and jiló (S. gilo), through artificial inoculation using an agar block with basidiospores of the pathogen. Differences on the growth and pathogenicity of the isolates were observed. Cocoa isolate was pathogenic to cocoa "cacauí" and Herrania seedlings, whereas "cupuacu" isolate was not pathogenic to cocoa but it was to all other Theobroma spp. and Herrania sp. "Liane" and "jucara" (S. rugosum Dun.) isolates were wakly pathogenic to Theobroma spp. but attained the greatest pathogenical activity to Herrania sp., tomato, eggplant and jiló. On the other hand Theobroma spp. isolates did not shown any pathogenic activity on the solanaceous plants
