Herenca do fator compatibilidade em Theobroma cacao L.; 1: Relacoes fenotípicas na familia PA (Parinari)

The compatibility condition of 11 clones of the PA (Parinari) family existing in the cacao germplasm bank of the Cacao Research Center, Ilhéus, Bahia, Brazil was studied through self and cross pollinations. All clones were self-incompatible. They could be separated into three phenotypic groups for cross-incompatibility according to the results of the inter-crosses. This suggests the presence of at least three alleles for incompatibility with sequential dominance. The progenies of the cross PA 150 x SIC 802 segregated in the ratio of one compatible to one incompatible, indicating that PA 150 should possess one compatible allele
