Cocoa rehabilitation in Ghana
The paper describes cocoa rehabilitation in Ghana, its history and development in relation to the swollen shoot disease of cocoa. Rehabilitation is viewed as an approach to the solution to the problems of general deteriorating cocoa farms. Since rehabilitation provides a rare opportunity of applying the results of recent researches to our cocoa field, any decision to rehabilitate or develop an old farm should be based on considerations that would ensure the best utilisation of the land and research findings in the interest of national economy and well-being
