The impact of cocoa rehabilitation schemes in Trinidad and Grenada
In both Trinidad and Grenada the depressed state of the cocoa industries prior to Word War II led to the setting up of Government sponsored Cocoa Rehabilitation Schemes. In 1967-68 a field survey was undertaken by one of us (M.R. Jones) to examine the results of these schemes and to determine individual farmer response. The results of the survey are analysed and conclusions drawn as to shortcomings and ways of improving the schemes
