Aspectos sobre a conservacao da biodiversidade e o manejo da floresta tropical atlántica

The Atlantic Rain Forest - a complex that covers a diversity of life very expressive - has subject of intense degradation. In consequence the genetic reserver of many especies has been seriously threatened. In this work causes and consequences of this forestry qualitative endangerment are discussed, as well the urgent necessity of adopting strategies for its recuperation. Three lines of action are pointed out: i) the preservation of primary forests; ii) the improvement of secondary formations and; iii) the recuperation of degenerated areas. These questions are discussed based on interactions among plants and animals of this ecosystem, with the aim of biodiversity conservation. Besides it is discussed the possibility of the management of some species as an economic alternative of these forests. The conditions for the exploration and conservation of the Atlantic Rain Forest are also evaluated.
