A volume equation was developed for any species in the Tapajós National Forest, which is suitable for diameter ranging from 15 cm to 45,0. Among the four equations tested the Kopezky-Gehrhardt model was selected: V = -0,0994 + 9,1941 x 10 exponent -4 x d exponent 2, where V = commercial volume over bark and d = diameter over bark at breast height
