Capacitación y desarrollo en la formación de técnicos forestales
All education needs conceptual reorientation (changes in its basic concepts); the branch of education concerned with forestry possesses special characteristics which place it apart from normal agricultural training. This article offers some suggestions as to the content of forestry education, and advances a methodological outline and strategies for putting it into practice. This new concept of training aims to centre its teaching on the subject matter of problems which affect the social medium, thus stimulating a more critical approach and a more acute conciousness. The process should also expand rapidly and reach growing numbers of people, since it should concentrate on the preparation of active agents who can pass on both knowledge and methodology as they are acquired
