Japanese beetle: control of larvae with isofenphos
Field tests over a 4-year period at a variety of sites showed isofenphos consistently gave excellent control of larvae of Popillia japonica Newman. The material meets all of the criteria generally considered essential for control of soil-inhabiting pests, i.e., persistence both on the surface and after moving into the upper layer of soil and the ability to penetrate thatch. The material is considered to be suitable for use in quarantine regulatory programs
