Prevalencia da tuberculose bovina no rebanho produtor de leite tipo B da regiao de Campinas, estado de Sao Paulo, Brasil :
To evaluate the prevalence of bovine tuberculosis on a type B dairy herd in Campinas region, 3663 animals were examined through the intradermal "ano-caudal technique". Results showed 101 animals positive (2,76 per cent), 56 animals suspicious (15,3 per cent) and the remaining ones (95,71 per cent) negative. There was not found significative difference between male and female prevalence. It is important to mention that in this region since a long time ago it is common use tuberculosis analysis due to such high prevalence, mainly because of a large number of dairy herds which supposedly should be free of the infection
