Cuba: eradication of bovine tuberculosis
Despite the many constraints facing Cuba as a developing country, it has suceeded in eliminating bovine tuberculosis, leading to increase milk and meat supplies for the population. This article describes the various phases of the programme for the control and eradication of bovine tuberculosis, which was set up in 1959. The information given here could be of interest to other developing countries confronting the same problem
