Etude des relations plante-insecte pour la mise au point de methode de regulation des populations de la cochenille du manioc

Regulation campaign of the accidentally introduced Phenacoccus manihoti (Hym., Pseudococcidae) in tropical Africa have essentially used newworld enthomophagous insects. Curiuosly, no integrated approach involving the insect-host plant relationships has been proposed until now. The impact of some physiological parameters of the vegetal organs, age of plantation, hydric stress were presented. These results allow the proposal of agronomic methods fitting with utilisation of entomophagous insects or even with their acclimatation procedures
