The competitiveness of agrifoods in Central American and Caribbean countries in the context of trade liberalization
This paper summarizes the main results of a study on agrifood competitiveness in Central American and Caribbean countries, sponsored by the government of the Netherlands and carried out by ECLAC's Agricultural Development Unit. The main purpose of this study was to identify possible trade opportunities and challenges facing the agrifood sector in the subregion's countries, in a context of trade liberalization in the main import markets.
