The contents: the world scenario; obstacles and opportunities for caribbean agriculture; PLANLAC and the case for modernization of agriculture; the future of caribbean agriculture; and, finally, the document explains that PLANLAC is not perceived as a static instrument or document, but as a dynamic process of continuous reflection subject to adjustments in response to changing needs in our Member States which can be translated into concrete action, and the challenges demand success in the efforts to modernize the agricultural sector.
