The fruit plant propagation process and its relation with the prevention of pests and diseases
I am sure that many of you wondering why, in a seminar dealing with pests and diseases of fruits, the area of propagation has been include. Farmers, and even we as technicians, have a tendency to think, that the problem of pests and diseases is a problem of the orchard. Similarly, when we talk about the control of those problems, inmdiately we think of the use of pesticides, and in the vest of cases, the use of resistant varieties
