Resultados preliminares de trabalhos sobre o nematoide de cisto, Heterodera glycines obtidos en Nova Ponte, MG

Research each perfomed in the muncipality of Nova Ponte, Minas Gerais, to evaluate the reaction of the soybean cyst nematode (SCN) on recommended soybean cultivars and promising lineages in Brazil. The studies were executed where soybean was previously grown, cultivar UFV-10 (Uberaba), with high and uniform SCN infestation. The genotypes were evaluated in pits, 0,50 m apart, with 5 repetitions. The cultivar Cristalina, used as a susceptibility reference, was always next to treated cultivars. Out of the 192 genotypes developed in Brazil, the cultivar IPAGRO was the only one classified as resistant and lineage PFBR87-4291 as moderately resistant. Most of the 33 genotypes brought in from United States showed negative reactions, inclusively those of the differential genotypes, allowing to conclude that race 3 is predominant in Nova Ponte(MG).
