The seminar was based on tropical fruit crops in the Caribbean. The papers were divided in four sections: group reports, country papers, fruit project and technical papers. It was analyzed that the priority crops are quite different from one island to another and the export of fresh or processed fruits is difficult due to the small volumes involved and problems of transportation.
