Post-harvest handling of passion fruit
The paper explains that the market for fresh fruit in North America and Europe has remained small and is supplied by hig-priced airfreighted fruit. It might be possible to bring down the market price and increase demand for fresh passion fruit it post-harvest systems suitable for seafreighting could be developed. (MIBA)
