Diseases of economic importance in citrus (grapefruit) and avocado
This presentation deal mainly with principles of plant pathology including a few diseases of the two selected crops - citrus and avocado. It emphasizes that it should be recongnized that as the crops become economic, the diseases become more economic. Diseases of citrus: Elsinoe fawcett, Xyloporosis, and Capnodium citri. Diseases of avocado: Phytophthora cinnamomi, Botryodiplodia theobromae, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, and Elsinoe persea. (MIBA)
