Some marketing aspects in agriculture

The document is divided into sections on the development of commercial relations in agriculture initiated in the period shortly before after the abolition of the slavery; and measures to improve the commercialization of production and marketing. In order to make this sector as profitable as possible action has to be taken by government and farmers. Measures should be taken to improve efficiency in production and make marketing effective. It is then explained that as production is market oriented, farmers will have to deal with interrelations and market factors influencing production activities. They should therefore be protected by price stubilization policies and adequate inputs. (MIBA)
