This document contains a report on its work in the Caribbean, comprising the countries of CARICOM plus the Dominican Republic and Haiti, conducted primarily through its Caribbean Regional Centre, to the SCMA. The report which covers the period june 1996 to may 1997, consists of the following major sections: 1. Framework for IICAs achievements, b. the resources committed by the institute, c. the activities grouped according to the major programmes of the Regional Transformation Programme as approved by the Conference of Heads of Government in july 1996, d. the highlights of the programme for the period 1997-1998.
