Land policy and administration in Guyana
The document refers to the structure of land administration, land ownership, land tenure systems, land distribution,land use, land development schemes, land issues and problems in Guyana. It is considers that the satisfactory resolution of the various land related problems and issues referred to in this paper would impact positively on the economic development of Guyana and many of reports prepared by international organizations have identified land related problems as a major constraint to agricultural development in Guyana.
