Alternativas de conversión de deuda externa para los países de la Región Centroamericana

A general overview is given of the practical applications of converting foreign debt, as based on the Costa Rican case, which has had broad experience. It emphasizes that the experience of countries that have exchange their debt for specific projects has been positive. It presents the alternative that the debt can be exchange for products, development, education and development of small enterprises, and natural resources. (MIBA)
