The human farm: principles and practices of sustainable agriculture on hillsides

It explains that agricultural sustainability is bases on changes in the thinking, awareness, and action of people, and on the understanding that productive processes are live processes. The paper teaching methodology should be based on simple principles (begin on a small scale, live with other people, respect culture, motivate, offer a multiplier effect, and satisfy), and institutions such as CATIE, CIMMYT, and CIAT are called upon to promote this approach among the programs and projects that they support
