Substrates to rooting and growing of cacao clones
The work verified the influence of substrates in rooting and growth of cacao seedlings: Had been used clones Cepec 2006 and TSH 1188 and minicuttings of fan branches. The substrate used for rooting was sand for the Cepec 2006 and to TSH 1188 vermiculite (Ver), sawdust (Ser), Plantmax (Pmax), fiber of coconut (FC) and compost of cacao seed husk (CTAC). The results whowed that the CTAC and FC can be recommended for rooting of minicuttings of clone TSH1188 and ratio FC: Pmax 1:4 as substrate to growth of Cepec 2006.
