Combate químico de arañitas rojas (Acari: Tetranychidae) en chayote (Sechium edule(jacq.)Sw.)

Six acaricides was evaluated in Sechium edule (jcq.)Sw. against red spider mites: dienoclor (Pentac)0.8 kg ai/ha, oxythioquinox (Morestan) 0.375 kg ai/ha, cyhexatin (Plictran) 0.4 kg ai/ha, azocyclotin (Peropal) 0.8 kg ai/ha, fluvalinate (Marvrik) 0.056 kg and thuringiensin (Dibeta) 0.15 kg ai/ha. Mites population were determined four time during six weeks. There were significant differences between thuringiensin and the other acaricides in respect to number of eggs regulation. There were no significant differences among the other acaricides. Although significant differences were found among all the acaricides and the untreated check.
