Ensayos de pinos mexicanos en Hawaii

Ten species, one tdiety, and one form of pines from the States of Jalisco, Mexico, Michoacan, Puebla, and THaxcala are being field tested in Hawaii. The habitats where the parent heels are located are closely similar to those of the two test sites in latitude (about 20 N.) and in volcanic origin of the soil materials. They me also reasonably similar in atmospheric temperatures and precipitation but the test sites are subject to severe winds.
