Fernandezia tica Mora-Retana & J B Garcia A new orchid species from Costa Rica
This new species, discovered in the highlands of Costa Rica, is characterized by monopodial growth, fleshy leaves suffused with purple and with a prominent sheath, and a lateral, racemose inflorescence with 2 or 3 fleshy, half-open, purple-rose flowers.
