La capacidad organizacional para aprender: factor clave del sistema de innovación en Nicaragua

CATIE-NORAD's IPM/Agroforestry Program measured the capacity of 17 collaborating research/teaching and fiel organizations to learn: how their professionals seek new knowledge, the organization-level procedures used to input, process, and output information and iknowledge, and the effectiveness of individual and organizational learning in recent collaborations. Future CATIE projects should emphasize the knowledge seeking routine and information access of individual collaborators, the value-added chain to structure information generation and analysis; methods to link networks to innovation; and methods for planning and evaluating learning capacity among CATIE partners. The results of this study have been relevant to characterize the national system of innovation.
