Soils of Malnad tracts of Karnataka harbour rich nematode fauna. Nematodes play a key role in the ecosystem. Predatory nematodes are key instruments in controlling plant-parasitic nematodes. The present paper deals with the descriptions of two new predatory nematodes viz., Iotonchus globibucca sp. n. and I. minutus sp. n. Males of I. silvallus Ahamad and Jairajpuri 1983 are reported for the first time from India.
