Women small farmers in the Caribbean

The first part of the book, the reader will find a summary of the main findings and synthesis of general trends in Latin America and the Caribbean vis-a-vis the subject under study, and of the differences found among the 18 countries covered in the research. This analysis provides an overview of the topic in a particular moment in history in the region, and is a point of depature for follow-up studies in the future or comparisons with similar processes studied in other regions of the world such as Africa and Asia. In the second part of the book, a summary and comparative analysis of the finding in each of the countries participant in the project in the Caribbean are presented, as well as the conclusions, recommendations and the project proposals
