PIC Circular LII (52) – December 2020

The PIC Circular is a key document under the Rotterdam Convention, both for the operation of the Prior Informed Consent (PIC) procedure and as a mechanism for the exchange of information. It is published in June and December in English, French, and Spanish. It is done jointly with the UNEP Secretariat of the Basel, Rotterdam, and Stockholm Conventions in Geneva. It directly supports SO2.3.1-stakeholders in implementing international instruments.
