Maltose-peptone-agar, a culture medium for sporulation of Stemphylium solani
The influence of different culture media on the sporulation of Stemphylium solani was studied. The best sporulation was obtained in a Petri-dishes containing 10 ml MP-5 with a variation of 21,433 - 41,700 conidia/ml. Conidia germinated and produced mycelium in fifteen days, in dishes with 20 and 25 ml MP-5.
