Four experiments were conducted to estimate riboflavin requirements for broiler chicks from 28 to 56 days of age using sorghum-soybean meal diets. In the first experiment, riboflavin was added at 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 mg kg-1 of feed and 2, 4 and 6 mg kg-1 in the second; in both experiments Indian River chicks were used. En el primero, los tratamientos fueron la adición de 0, 1, 2, 3 y 4 mg kg-1 de alimento y 2, 4 y 6 mg kg-1 en el segundo; en ambos se usaron pollos Indian River. En los Experimentos 3 y 4 los tratamientos fueron 0, 2, 4 y 6 mg kg-1, en pollos Arbor Acres. En el Experimento 1, las mayores ganancias de peso fueron con 2 o más mg de riboflavina suplementada (p0.05). Los resultados de los Experimentos 3 y 4, con pollos Arbor Acres, indicaron que es necesario agregar 4 mg de riboflavina para obtener la máxima ganancia de peso; tampoco hubo diferencias significativas para consumo y conversión alimenticia en estos dos experimentos.
