REQUIREMENTS OF RIBOFLAVIN FOR BROILERS FROM 4 TO 8 WEEKS OLD
Four experiments were conducted to estimate riboflavin requirements for broiler chicks from 28 to 56 days of age using sorghum-soybean meal diets. In the first experiment, riboflavin was added at 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 mg kg-1 of feed and 2, 4 and 6 mg kg-1 in the second; in both experiments Indian River chicks were used. In Experiments 3 and 4, riboflavin was added at 0, 2, 4 and 6 mg kg-1 using Arbor Acres broilers.
