Grenada’s Prime Minister Nicholas Brathwaite is the latest Head of Government to object to the West Indian Commission’s proposal for the establishment of a CARICOM Commission (03:42-04:43) 4. Tony Fraser reports that the counter proposal to have individual CARICOM heads be responsible for specific area of regional integration instead of a CARICOM Commission is gaining favour from other OECS leaders (04:44-06:37) 5. Dr. Cheddi Jagan in his speech at the opening of the special summit notes that despite CARICOM’s introduction of hassle free travel for nationals, Guyanese travelers passing through Antigua have been detained overnight.
