Composteren van dunne mest op melkveebedrijven

This report reports the findings of a literature survey and a modelling study. The aim of the literature study was to obtain an overview of the available knowledge on composting cattle slurry. It was assumed that the manure would be composted on the farm and that the final product would be used on the farm. The modelling study investigates the implications of on-farm composting of cattle slurry on farm economics and the environment. A number of scenarios are defined and modelled, using the widely available information from the literature study
