Reversible polyhedrization of discrete volumes
En imagerie 3d, la polyédrisation est utilisée pour accroître le réalisme et simplifier la représentation des images discrètes. Le processus consiste à représenter tout objet discret, en particulier les objets voxel, par un ou plusieurs polyèdres de R3. L'opération inverse, processus de discrétisation, permet de convertir tout polyèdre de R3 en un volume discret de Z3. Ces méthodes ont été testées et appliquées aussi bien sur des volumes mathématiques que sur scanner
