Development of new stress-resistant maize genetic resources (UNDP Project GLO/90/003): final report 1990-1996

A synthesis of results of research under the UNDP-supported Project "Development of New Stress-Resistant Maize Genetic Resources" (UNDP Project GLO/90/003), executed by the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) from 1990 through 1996 to develop 1) efficient selection techniques for stress tolerance, and 2) maize source germplasm with tolerance to insects, drought, low nitrogen and acid soil conditions.
