Producción de semilla básica de algodón
Effort carried out during obtainment a new cotton cultivar can be lost, at least if certain precautions are not taken into account to preserve genotype purity. A small amount of seed produced by cotton breeder constitutes the base for obtaining that amount of seed requered for commercial areas. The present article points out both methodologies to preservation of genetics purity and to increase foundation seed of a new cotton cultivar.
