microbiome analyses of hybrid tilapia reared in a mixotrophic biofloc production system
The goals of this outdoor mixotrophic biofloc production system study were to characterize temporal changes in the prokaryotic and eukaryotic microbiota in culture water and the gastrointestinal tract of hybrid tilapia (O. aureus x O. niloticus) grown to market size (454 g/fish) and fed a phosphorus-free practical diet treated with phytase or positive and negative control practical diets.
