Helicoverpa zea Raw sequence reads

The goals of the study were to identify regions of the H. zea genome that are under selection following Cry1Ac exposure when it was overlayed on larval diet for two laboratory-reared strains. These strains (GA-R and GA) were described in Brevault et al. 2013, and differ in their susceptibility to Cry toxins. GA-R is relatively more resistant to Cry1Ac than is GA. We then characterized the haplotypes and their frequencies for one of the most divergent regions using cDNA sequencing by PacBio in each laboratory strain.
