Influence of insecticides on Cryptolaemus montrouzieri, 1: Effect of residues of cythion, ekalux, lebaycid and metacid on grub
A trial was conducted to study the effect of four contact insecticides, namely Cythion 50 EC, Ekalux 25 EC, Lebaycid 1000 and Metacid 50 EC, on the grub of Cryptolaemus montrouzieri, a predator on mealybugs. All the insecticides were toxic to the grub. By the third week after application the toxicity was reduced
