Levantamento detalhado dos solos do Campo de Introducao de Theobroma na Amazonia

A detailed soil survey, using the walking method, was made of the CITEA (Campo de Introducao de Theobroma da Amazonia) Experimental Station located in the Bragantina area (km 7) of Pará State. Nine types of soil series were identified chemically, physically and morphologically. Basic information was obtained for the rational use of the soils for experiments. All soils were of low natural fertility (Oxisol). One type was hydromorphic. The flecty-series had water log problems during the rainy periods and the story series had physical limitations unsuitable for perenial crops.
