Propagación vegetativa de especies forestales: resultados y aplicaciones
Leafy stem cuttings of a large number of tropical tree species were successfully rooted in low-technology, non-mist propagators at CATIE, Costa Rica and ITE, Scotland. The study concentrated on some of the factors, both pre-and post-severance, known to have a critical influence on the physiological condition and the rooting ability of cuttings. The practical implications arising from the study are also discussed.
