Lactation curve in Malabari goats and their Saanen half-breds
The present investigation was conducted to study the lactation curve in Malabari goats and their Saanen half-breds, and to stablish the best representative shape of lactation curves in goats. Four functions: exponential, parabolic exponential, inverse polynomial and gamma type were examined. Each of these functions was fitted by transforming the function into their linear form. The estimates of different constants is presented
