Zootechnical aspects and comparative analysis of the main productive characteristics of the goat
In order to organize goat farming and its improvement it would be necessary to take the following steps: a) Integrated studies in caprinoculture; b) Quarantine Stations to facilitate imports of breeds from similar latitudes and longitudes for effective improvement of the caprine livestock; c) Organize breeding, selection and handling, according to ecological environment and markets; d) Form a cultural exchange on caprine research; e) Increase training of technicians in order that producers could get advice for improvement of economics and sanitary conditions; f) Promote granting of credits based on annuity parameters; g) Caprine Legislation to enable the goat to occupy a suitable place among domestic species
