Cognitive mapping of ergonomics and safety on agricultural tractors used in family farming
This article presents a causal cognitive mapping based on research conducted by specialists on ergonomics and safety issues in agricultural tractors. We used the mapping to represent the information provided in Brazilian technical and regulatory standards, as well as in scientific papers published in the CAPES/MEC Journal WebPortal. We adopted documentary and bibliographic research procedures in the construction of the maps. In addition, we conducted interviews with agricultural machinery experts in order to consider their experiences based on personal knowledge patterns. The objective of this research was the visualization of the cause and effect relations of the themes applied to agricultural tractors through the elaboration of the mapping. The analysis of cognitive mapping identified items and indexes suitable for the evaluation of levels or degrees of functional effectiveness and satisfaction of the various actors regarding the ergonomics and safety of these machines, in order to determine potential actions to support decision-making when the farmer acquires them.
